Amazon Fire Stick Review

I have recently purchased an Amazon Fire Stick so that I can have everything all in one place such as Amazon Video, Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Music, Photos and so on, so on..

I am very impressed with how simple it is and how easy it is to setup – Amazon automatically link your account to the Fire Stick (you can ask them not to if it’s a gift) and it comes on instantly! Not forgetting that it’s just a USB stick that you simply plug into the power source and your tv and BOOM on it goes! Very simple.

At a bargain of £34.99, I would highly recommend the Amazon Fire Stick as it’s just simple, has all the content you need and you can even download third party apps onto it. Handy!

I feel that this product is definitely for all age ranges and is suitable for families too. It is jam packed with films and tv programmes, you can listen to your music on there, view your photos from the Amazon Cloud and you can even play games on here too (& purchase a gaming controller too, if needed).

It is very easy to navigate, personalise and find the correct films and shows that you want. If you can’t be bothered with the simply remote (which has a similar layout to the Apple TV Remote) then you can download the Amazon Fire App that lets you use your phone as a remote as a mouse, voice recognition and to type!

Melbourne Trip!

A little unexpected trip to Melbourne – which was so much fun!
I had a job interview with one days notice, so I booked a flight straight away and luckily it was on my two days off of work! So, I headed straight for Melbourne!

On my first day, I decided to walk all the way up to Queen Victoria Markets and get some food there as I was starving since the plane! I then strolled around the streets of Melbourne looking for some cool coffee shops and stores – I even came across H&M at GPO!
I did so much stuff in one day, I ended up going to ACMI (Australia Centre of Moving Image) which was free and a lot of fun to see! It is about technology, how film, games and television became! They had a lot of interactive stuff too, for people that are more hands on too!

After ACMI, I visited Sealife Melbourne as I have a Merlin Unlimited Pass in Sydney which lets me visit any of them in Australia. So I went here for a browse as it was chilly outside! It was a lot of fun and I had a lovely surprise when I saw that they had some adorable penguins!

The next day, I went to my job interview (got the job!) and came back for a stroll around the city again. Turns out, one of my friends from the hostel was in Melbourne for a few weeks – so she decided to show me around and to take me to some cool places like Manchester Press which is a really cool, out of sight cafe/restaurant (amazing bagels!).

After Issy showing me all of the cool graffiti and coffee shops, I sadly had to go to the airport to fly back to Sydney – although I loved Melbourne, I still miss my little Sydney hostel family! But all in all, productive last minute trip, got a job and a great experience there!

Have you been here before? Recommend me some cool places to go, when I go back! 🙂
I will be posting a video of Melbourne up here soon!

Random favourite of July: Desperate Housewives

SAM_0012

Oh, Desperate Housewives..
I had started this series years and years ago, but I never got around to finishing it! I would end up missing an episode on tv, then forgetting to catch up, over and over!
So I got down to it after all my university work was handed in and I restarted everything – and here I am, finally finished!

So many people love this series, and I would definitely recommend it! It’s a series full of love, hook ups, drama, murders, crimes – the lot!
I would say that the first few series and the one before last are the best! I can’t really say much though, incase I spoil it for others, sadly!

Not forgetting the men, there are quite a few lookers in this series too 😉

If you have already seen this, who is your favourite housewife?
I think mine might be Bree or Gabrielle, but I do love Lynette as well – so, not much of a decision made, there!
