kick ass

I need to sell some books! Help?

Ok, it has come to that time where I have to sell the books that I have been using during my time in university. They are mainly design books and some are books on comics/graphic novels/film adaptations. I am not too sure on how to go about this, but ebay seems a little bit daunting and long, whilst I have no idea what is going on with the Amazon selling method!

SOOO.. I am thinking of posting a few on here, just incase there are any design/comic book related people out there! Quite a few of these books are really big and heavy, so I would have to check out the postage for them – but I will be posting photos of the books tomorrow, to show you all! Some were bought brand new and still look it, whilst some were bought used (some are ex-library books too..)

A few of these books include: A Smile In The Mind, The Art Of Looking Sideways, Kick Ass: Creating The Comic, Art Of X-Men: Last Stand, The Essential Guide To World Comic Books, Creative Advertising, May Contain Graphic Material..

If anyone has any other good book selling methods, which is actually worth it, then let me know! As I have looked up some websites like music magpie (but book alternatives, obviously) and they only give you a TINY bit of money (30p-£2.00) for books that I paid £30-40 for!

Kick Ass 2

I finally got around to watching Kick Ass 2 last night! I am a big fan of the graphic novels and wanted to see this film on the day it came out, unfortunately most of my friends aren’t into the same genre of films as me, so it didn’t happen until now!

It’s hard to create a successful and exciting sequel, that lives up to the first film. I think that Kick Ass 2 was a good second film to the series, especially the introduction of new characters – portrayed just as I imagined them.

The one big flop about Kick Ass 2, was that weird Union J moment – what was going on with that? Sponsored, yes? I just got forced to watch their music video. Traumatised.

Other than that, I really enjoyed this film – although I much preferred the first movie, mainly down to the plot and origins.

Does anyone else feel strange about seeing Chloe Moretz growing up?
