Review: As always, the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling are always ALWAYS incredible!
I have decided to start re-reading these this year! And, as you can tell I just finished The Goblet Of Fire, which is probably one of my favourites out of the books, although I really don’t like the film adaptation of this book..
This now reminds me that I really, really want to go to the Harry Potter Studios when I get home from travelling, as I have been to The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter in Orlando a few times but not London?!

Anyway, I don’t think there’s much explaining to do about this book, as most people have read them or seen the films – you all know the jist! I just thought that I would share my excitement that I am re-reading them and you all should too! 😀

Have you re-read the books? If so, how many times? If not, will you?

Harry Potter and the Illustrated, Beautiful, Hardcover of Loving Goodness?!

*These images are from Amazon*
I have recently stumbled across this gorgeous book, whilst I saw that Bloomsbury were releasing a purple hardcover, with golden pages of Harry Potter & The Philosophers Stone full of illustrations which is beautiful – BUT it’s $270.
So I started to read the comments for people’s reactions and they all thought that is was very expensive, nice but too expensive. Somebody then posted a link to an alternative which looks pretty similar on Amazon. HERE IS THE LINK TO IT.

It’s not going to be the same, of course. But it is still illustrated, has a beautiful hardcover and would look incredible on a bookshelf AND it is only £19.99! What a bargain! I just know that I need this book in my life, right now!

Hobbiton Movie Set Tour!

One of the highlights of my trip so far – I got to go to the Hobbiton Movie Set Tour in Matamata, NZ!
It was incredible!

They have around 32 Hobbit Holes which look amazing and have been rebuilt for tourism now. So you can stand inside some of these, although they have nothing inside. But it’s so much fun to have photos by them, as they all come in different sizes for when they were filming certain characters like Gandalf or the hobbits!   11738064_10153055932277362_6149046580230791735_n 11738115_10153055939417362_5022644998741200205_n 11403369_10153055934562362_712599212198397994_n
At the end of the tour, we got to have a free drink from the Green Dragon which was a replica from the movies although it wasn’t used for filming.11709721_10153055940012362_3430862927788959088_n10995854_10153055939747362_4922334749171172941_n
The inside was absolutely adorable and much needed as it was freezing outside, we all huddled around the fire including the Hobbiton Set cat, too! The cider was also pretty good too, which they only brew and sell at Hobbiton! Try to order it as soon as you get there though, because your guide might rush you and you have to down it.. getting yourself a little bit tipsy like I was…

I
think that the Hobbiton Movie Set Tour was so much fun and I would definitely recommend it to Lord Of The Rings fans. Some people did say that it was expensive, but they weren’t really fans of LOTR. So I would say that it is definitely worth the money ($90), compared to other activities in these areas! Very informative guides that told you a lot of facts and pointed out little spoilers, too!

A Court Of Thorns And Roses by Sarah J Maas Book Review

WOW. This book!

I will start with the basics. This book is based on Beauty & The Beast, so a girl from a human village has to fend for her family as they aren’t very fortunate any more. She has to go out and hunt for animals for their food, clean the house and basically look after them in any way possible.
One very wintery day, she goes into a forest that people wouldn’t dare to go in as there is a magical realm on the other side of the wall, which doesn’t have a great reputation amongst the villagers. To cut it short, she shoots a wolf with her bow and arrow and immediately kills it. She runs home and that evening, they have a very unexpected visitor from the magical realm that takes her away to live in their kingdom as a wrath for what she has done.

It involves love, hate, blood, magic, villains, creatures..

I won’t say any more than that, but you might be able to get a small jist of the book from the Beauty And The Beast reference.

This book captured me within the first chapter, I was hooked. Although, I felt like it got slow after about 25% but it starts to pick up again at about 45% onwards. And definitely, definitely picks up and makes you hooked again at 50%+.

I highly recommend reading this book and I’m pretty sure that there is going to be a sequel to this, which I cannot wait for!
I couldn’t put this book down yesterday as I was reading the last 40%, I literally read wherever I possibly could – on the bus, in Starbucks and I even got into bed at 7pm just so I could read!

Have any of you read this book? Did you enjoy it? I know that there’s quite a lot of hype around this at the moment and I certainly look forward to reading some of Sarah J Maas’ other books in the future!
