Prosecco Flow Event

Myself and a few more of my incredible blogger friends were so kindly invited to Prosecco Flow’s Event. This is a one-off event where so many different and incredible brands come together to give us a night to pamper ourselves and have a great time.

The brands that were involved were Yogi Bare, Yume Cardiff, Nando’s, Ten Mill Lane, UFit Fitness, Pixies and Poppets and so many more!

We had such an incredible evening which started off with some RnB Yoga from Yogi Bare which was so refreshing to see and so enjoyable! We then moved onto getting our eyebrows tinted and waxed which was so great – especially as I have never had my eyebrows tinted professionally, so there’s always time for a first!

We then moved onto the Ten Mill Lane booth who made endless cocktails for us all which were so tasty it was unreal! What better to go along with amazing cocktails? Nando’s, of course!
Nando’s Cardiff were so kind to cook us up a whole bunch of amazing food from their stores and let us all loose!

Once we were all refilled and raring to go, we headed straight to Yume Cardiff’s stand where they did these incredible hair braids! I really wish I had the talent to do something like this myself and I apologise again to the ladies for having to battle my super thick hair! It looked so gorgeous in the end though and was well worth it!
They had so many different beauty therapies at Prosecco Flow, but we didn’t manage to get around all of them!

Afterwards, people got swiftly transported to Ten Mill Lane to carry on the night and party away after being pampered all evening. Unfortunately, I had work the next day so sadly I had to give this one a miss but I’m almost certain that everyone had a blast!

A huge thank you to Prosecco Flow for having us and we cannot wait to see if there are any more future events! Such a great idea to give the perfect Friday night and to combine so many different brands all at one time!

Christmas At The Grape Event

I was very fortunate to be invited to the #ChristmasAtTheGrape Blogger Event at Grape & Olive Swansea to taste their brand new Christmas Menu!

We had such an amazing night here and got to taste so much incredible food!

It’s safe to say that this event has definitely kicked in the christmas vibes and now the christmas countdown can start from here for me!

You can choose from a 2 Course or 3 Course Menu and whether it’s going to be the Christmas Festive, Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day which all have a variety of meals which are outstanding! Not forgetting that you’ll be getting a spectacular view of Swansea, including Mumbles from the 28th floor of the Grape And Olive.

Here is what the tables would be set out like, if booking a Christmas meal at the Grape And Olive Swansea:

We got to sample some of the amazing courses from the menu and here’s a few images of examples. When it comes to the mains, I thoroughly enjoyed the Roast Fillet of Hake – such a creamy texture to the mash potato also! It was so good! (Writing this is making me hungry again..)

I personally feel that the Chocolate and Orange Fondant was definitely the highlight of the night for me – it was just incredible especially for a chocoholic like myself, but so full of flavour and the orange really stood out! Hands down my favourite!

I had such a great time at the Grape And Olive and I got to meet some lovely bloggers some that I have met before, and some new faces to me! I can’t wait to see what Grape And Olive are going to do next! I’m definitely returning, especially for more of the Chocolate and Orange Fondant!

Thank you so much to Ffion and Gavin for this event, and a huge thanks for my first christmas card of the year!

Lush Cardiff Christmas Blogger Event

I was very lucky to get invited to Lush Cardiff‘s Christmas Blogger Event last week. I was so excited to have a nose at some of their previously amazing seasonal products and to see what’s new in store for this year!

There were bloggers in christmas jumpers, lots of festive music, vegan food and drinks which were to die for and every single thing in there smelt incredible!

We had the lovely Lorna show us around the store, giving us demos of a huge range of seasonal products such as Yog Nog, Christingle, Bubbly, Santa’s Belly..

*shown above: Santa’s Belly Shower Jelly – which contains nourishing Fresh Apple Juice, Star Anise Infusion which is Warming and spicy, Rose Absolute for the balancing and restorative element and Neroli Oil to uplift and tone.

Firstly, we got to try out all of the shower gels and cleansers and boy, are there some extremely amazing scents this year! I completely fell in love with a shower gel called Bubbly (which is a warm scent of grape, orange and lime) and Christingle which is a Body Conditioner that has an amazing minty scent to it (Believe me, I am so smooth, fresh smelling and tingly after using this in the shower!).

*First image: Snow Fairy Shower Gel and Lord Of Misrule Shower Cream.
Lord of Misrule contains warming and clarifying Black Pepper Oil, Patchouli Oil which is exotic but earthy, Vanilla Absolute and Organic Wheatgerm Oil which is full of nutrients!

We then got shown a few lip scrubs and lip tints, before moving down to the soap and bath section where things got even more interesting (& more glitter-filled demonstrations!).

Everyone was so friendly and amazing to talk to at the event and they provided us with so much information about the background of the products, the ingredients, what the benefits of the ingredients are..

Unfortunately it’s another 2 months until Christmas, so I’ll just have to try keep my festive spirit in for at least another month yet! Go ahead and check out the christmas range at!

So, a huge thank you to the lovely ladies at Lush Cardiff for this amazing event and we cannot wait to see the new Lush Spa that’s going to be opening!
What are your favourite Lush products? What is the best festive Lush product in your opinion?

NYX Cardiff Blogger Event

So I was fortunate enough to get an invite to attend the NYX Cardiff Blogger Event at Boots last week.

The Boots store at St Davids has had a brand spanking new NYX counter for a few months and it’s been so chaotic there, especially with people after the Lingerie Lip Colours.

At the event, we were shown so many amazing new products, how to use them and I was treated to a cheeky little eyebrow tutorial from Jade who did an incredible job!
I am forever struggling to keep up with my eyebrow pencils running out on me and them wiping off after loads of activity BUT BEHOLD, Jade has found me a holy grail product – NYX Eyebrow Gel in Chocolate.

I cannot rave enough about this product, Jade claims that you can sleep with these on and they’ll still be there and my god, she is correct! I definitely put these to the test and was really pleased – also, the fact that you have to use the tiniest bit of gel to cover both eyebrows, it’s going to last me so much longer than my pencils!

The NYX Counter looks outstanding at St Davids and has such a huge range of different products always in stock. At the Blogger Event, there was also the chance to purchase a small number of eyeshadow palettes at a discounted rate which were incredible value for money!

The ladies hosting the event were so generous too by giving us a select few taster products to try out ourselves from brands such as The Body Shop, L’Oreal, Lancome and Vichy..
I’m still waiting to find the perfect time to try out a few of these products, so bare with me and expect to see some posts on what I think.

Obviously I couldn’t leave empty handed either, so I decided to pick up a few items so I went with the NYX Lingerie in ‘Push Up’ as I thought it would be work appropriate, NYX Stacked Mascara to give me some length to my lashes and also the Eyebrow Gel in ‘Chocolate’ which is out of this world! So look out for some reviews on these products – I’ll be posting them soon!

I want to say a huge thanks to the ladies at NYX Cardiff for all their hard effort and knowledge that went into the event. I had such an amazing time and cannot wait to see some future events from these ladies!
What is your favourite NYX product and why? I’d love to know!
