Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

I have finally read it! I have read Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and it wasn’t half bad!
I didn’t find it incredible, but I didn’t find it bad either – a good, entertaining and easy read.

It is basically about a girl that writes fan fiction, but gets so involved with it that it runs her life, her relationships and her friends. It then goes on to tell the story of how she’s settling in at school, meets all sorts of people whether or not she gets on with them and what struggles she’s had to face. There’s also quite a bit of drama in there too!
It’s a hard one to describe without telling you the whole storyline, so feel free to look up a blurb if you’re daring enough!

But just for my opinion, I did quite enjoy reading this one and it only took me a day or two! A really nice pick, when you want to mix up your genres for once!

Have you read this? Are you a hardcore fan like most people? Let me know why you loved this book!

Paper Towns by John Green Book Review

WELL, I was surprised at this book! I’m going to be honest and say that I wasn’t a massive fan of his other hit book ‘The Fault In Our Stars’.
I’m not too sure why, it was an alright book, but I think that everybody hyped the book up so much that I found it a little bit disappointing!
But hey! I actually really enjoyed this book – I thought that I would give it a read before the film comes out and I’m glad that I did.

It is about a boy that has lived next door to this girl all of his life, and only through high school she has gotten herself involved with him. She convinces him go on a small adventure with her, pulling pranks and ever since, his feelings for her come back instantly. So to cut it short, she decides to run away but leave clues, so he decides on whether to go find her or not!

I won’t say anymore about that, because I’m scared that I’ll ruin it for you!
I did really enjoy this, I enjoyed the journey that it takes you through and how you can see how he deals with various issues with school, friends and love.

I would definitely recommend reading this, it only took me about 2/3 days to finish it whilst I was ill.
So give it a go!

Have any of you read this? TELL ME IF YOU LIKED IT! (It’s probably a yes, as it’s pretty hyped up at the moment!).
Let me know, I love to read your comments 😀
